Welcome to GK Turfing. Over 36 years ago Gary Kenyon launched our North East based Turf laying company and now we are recognised as being one of the best turf suppliers in the area.

The turf is harvested daily to ensure maximum freshness. Using the latest harvesting technology ensures less waste, and tidy uniformly sized rolls. We also provide a full lawn laying service using our expertise in ground preparation, rotavating and turf laying. Our ongoing work can be viewed at any time and no job is too big or small.

We can work any time including evenings and weekends and also offer several other services relating to your garden. This includes site clearance, drainage, fencing, flagging, grass seeding and levelling. Please contact us for a free estimate for any service you require.

Turf Laying

Our Turf Laying service is based in the North East & Northumberland, but we cover all areas.

Our turf allows you to enjoy your garden instantly without the lengthy process required of seeding your own lawn. The turf is harvested daily so we can ensure maximum freshness. Using the latest harvesting technology ensures less waste, and tidy uniformly sized rolls.

Turf Aftercare

Turf is a living plant and therefore perishable.

It needs to be cared for once laid to give the new root system the time and conditions to establish properly.

What a great job.  Old dead turf cleared and levelled.  New fantastic turf laid and all tidied up.  120sqm turf took an afternoon and the following morning.
Fantastic job. Brilliant team.  Really good price .
We cannot fault this work.
Just sorry we didn't ask them to do the front lawn too!
PS Comparable quote from a national company to kill and reseed was nearly 3x as much.
